ABOUT THE COUNSELLING AND OUTREACH TEAM

The MPU Counseling and Outreach team is a subsidiary of the Methodist-Presbyterian(Students) Union (MPU)We have the duty of ministering to the body, soul and spirit of members of the congregation through counseling and giving guidance on specific spiritual, social and material issues (John 21:15 and Hosiah 4:6).
This big function is an embodiment of the following activities;

1. Fellowshipping together as a team to pray and intercede for members' general welfare

2. Searching the scriptures and others sources of knowledge to equip us with information and skill to tackle challenges of members we have the opportunity to handle

3. Embarking on mass visitation programmes to MPU members and members of the executive to encourage and edify them

4. Periodic outreach programmes in collaboration with the coordinating groups of both NUPS - G and GHAMSU. Also we go on Outreach to hospitals ,borstal homes, prisons etc to reach them with the word of God.

It is our heart desire to reach you with the word of God and useful counsel to keep you equipped for success.We believe this is in line with what the scriptures say, that in the multitude of counsel there is safety. It is therefore our hope that you leave this site getting blessed because you would be surely touched by the power of the Lord Jesus.
